Ofsted praised the school recently for creating "Confident, self-motivated and keen to learn" pupils. The school has undergone a positive change over the last 3 years since the internal appointment of their New Headteacher who knows his school. Staff morale is high and with the completed new 6th form block the school are fully focussed on an 'Outstanding' from their next Ofsted.

This role will involve teaching both English Literature and English Language to GCSE, preferably with at least one to A-Level. Extra-curricular opportunities are a focus at this school, so you may also be expected to get involved in trips, theatre workshops etc
