Tradewind are working with a wonderful, small, post-16 provider who are in need of a teacher of English GCSE, on a part time basis. This will be either 2 or 3 days per week, and will be working with GCSE resit students. Payment for this position will be between £130.00 and £150.00 per day, depending on experience and qualifications. This cover will be needed until at least Easter 2021, with the potential to extend in the future.
If physical classes are back in attendance, then you will be teaching face to face. If the majority of students are not back onsite, then you will be teaching online. For this reason, experience with online delivery and good ICT competency are very much desirable for this position.
The role:
- Delivering GCSE English lessons to resit students
- Delivering online lessons
- Potentially teaching Functional Skills English (Level 1 and 2)
- Planning lessons in line with the GCSE curriculum
Essential requirements:
A teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
Experience working in a secondary school
All work with Tradewind requires a DBS on the update service, and collection of at least two verified references.
