Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a talented English teacher to join a large secondary academy to start from September 2021 on an ongoing basis.

This is a full-time teaching role and is highly likely to become a permanent role.

The Role

Teacher of English Language and Literature

Delivery of outstanding lessons in key stage 3 and GCSE English

Positive confident behaviour management skills

Innovative teacher able to adapt lessons to the changing needs of students

Five days a week

The academy are interested in hearing from Newly Qualified Teacher and experienced QTS Teachers.

Experience of motivating reluctant learners or teaching in an alternative provision would be particularly useful

State of the art facilities for teaching and learning

Well resourced English department including popular community library on-site.

Supportive leadership team with clear plans for school improvement

To join us and be successful in this English Teacher role, you will need to:

• Hold QTS Status or QTLS
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
• Provide a CV with 10 years of employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
