Tradewind are delighted to be working with a Secondary School in Preston who are looking to appoint an exceptional English Teacher to join a successful team of teachers in the English faculty to cover a maternity. This post would suit either an NQT or an experienced teacher who is passionate about teaching English and who is committed to helping young people achieve. The position is from Christmas until Summer but has the potential to be ongoing for the right candidate.

This post offers the opportunity to teach English across all year groups whilst contributing to the thriving extra-curricular programme of the school. The school are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic teacher who has experience of supporting all Secondary age groups.

You must have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK, or an equivalent overseas qualification with UK Teaching experience. This will allow you to deliver the National Curriculum and be properly equipped to deal with classroom management. You will be committed to raising standards and have good organisational and interpersonal skills.
