Tradewind Recruitment's Sheffield team are supporting a Rotherham Secondary Academy to recruit a Teacher of English, to support their pupils through until the end of the academic year. Is this post for you?

THIS TEMPORARY ROLE (AVAILABLE TO JULY 2019) WILL BE ADVERTISED PERMANENTLY FOR A SEPTEMBER 2019 START.

The role will include supporting the English department by Teaching English to KS3 and KS4.

The Academy was last graded "GOOD" by OFSTED, so to maintain the Academies high standards the SLT require a strong character to maintain the teaching and to improve the children's progress. The Academy is a well - resourced Academy with free parking which can provide accredited CPD in various topics from Controlling behaviour management, KCSIE to Safeguarding.

The Academy requires an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who can demonstrate a passion for teaching and support the ethos, vision and values of the Academy, whilst being continually committed to every child's individual needs.

The School located in South Rotherham has close links, Sheffield, Worksop and to the M1 Motorway.

To be considered for this role, you will need;


-A teaching qualification
-A DBS certificate, or be happy to apply for a DBS.
-Have a CV containing your last 10 years of education history (in month/year format)
-Be able to provide 2 professional references including one from your latest employer or education institution.
-Full time availability
-Team Teach training is desirable, not essential as training is available.
