Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an enthusiastic and energetic English Teacher to join an Alternative Provision Facility focusing on EBD students, to start as soon as possible. This is a full time, long term role, paying up to £160 a day, with the potential of a permanent contract.

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established Alternative Provision, which caters for students from 8 -18 years old. The school deliver specialist therapeutic education services to young people and strive to achieve the potential of all their pupils by creating an environment where they can thrive.

* Hold QTS Status or QTLS
* This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
* Provide a CV with 10 years of employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
* Have the legal right to work in the UK

The school are looking for an English Teacher with experience within in an EBD school, that can deliver an exceptional standard of teaching and learning. You will need excellent subject knowledge, as well as a great personality for building rapport with challenging students. You must be a committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role. You will need to be a collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of the subject through inventive approaches including curriculum design and the use of ICT.

The role itself will involve the delivery of English lessons to students in KS3 and KS4. You will be delivering a full timetable, with PPA time for planning and marking. Ideal candidates will have strong curriculum knowledge and will ensure that the lessons they deliver are of excellent quality using innovative and engaging approaches, ensuring that the students are having fun whilst making progress!

The school is based in Runcorn, with excellent public transport links and ample parking available.
