Are you a committed and innovative teacher able to deliver English up to Key Stage 5? The department are energetic, creative and successful with results currently held at a consistently high standard within the school.

The school provides a superb track record of ongoing support and development for all teachers including NQT's and teachers trained from abroad. Any level of experience is required and the post is also available for NQT's and teachers who've trained in other countries.

You will be required to teach across all key stages on a full time teaching timetable. Duties will include
-Planning, preparing and delivering lessons
-Preparing Teaching materials
-Helping pupils improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills via individual and group sessions.
-Checking and assessing pupils work
-Organising and running specialist courses

Located on the outskirts of St Albans the school has several good transport routes and a number of affordable accommodation options for relocating teachers.

Relevant teaching qualification from the UK or abroad (NARIC may be requested)

Experience of teaching English in a secondary school environment within the last 3 years.
