Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a qualified Teacher of English to join a successful secondary school in Clacton. The school are looking to appoint a committed, passionate, and hard-working English specialist. The position is due to commence on Monday 3rd January and is a full-time role. The post is a two term post however all going well the successful applicant will be considered for other roles should they arise for the following academic year.

As a Teacher of English you would be expected to take on the full role of a classroom teacher including; planning, preparing and delivering lessons, marking work, attending staff meetings and parents' evenings.

This is a medium sized secondary academy in Clacton which is committed to the success of every student. The school believes in traditional values of respect, good behaviour and discipline in order to ensure students are able to thrive and achieve their best. The school also has a very strong pastoral care and curriculum which caters for all students, across the age and ability range. In order to be considered for this fantastic opportunity Tradewind requires the following:
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
*You must hold QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification.
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.

The school is based in Clacton and is accessible by public transport or car, with on-site parking for staff.
