Tradewind Recruitment are working with a Secondary School in Hillingdon who are seeking an English graduate to join their English Department as an English Teaching Assistant on a full-time long-term basis. This position will commence in September 2020 and run until the end of the academic year.



As an English Teaching Assistant, you will be:

Supporting and facilitating effective student learning within KS3, KS4 and KS5 English classes.

Working with individual students who have differentiated lesson plans, adapted to any Special Educational Needs or learning difficulties they may have.

Working with small groups of students to run focus sessions on certain areas of the curriculum, booster classes for students who may be behind where they should be

Running advanced sessions for high achieving students who need to be further challenged in class.



This English Teaching Assistant position would suit a recent graduate who is confident, engaging, motivated, supportive and flexible who works well within a team setting and is able to use their initiative to assist and adapt to individual student needs. A graduate who is an aspiring English Teacher would particularly befit this position.



Serviced by the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines, as well as local buses, this school is easily accessible from all areas of North, West and Central London. Parking is also available for those who drive.
