Literature, Media or Communications looking for your next role in a Secondary School? We have the role for you!

This is a long-term role in a Secondary School based in Catford starting in two weeks' time and concluding at the end of the academic year at a rate of £75/day.
The successful candidate will join an English department supporting KS3-4 students up to A levels.

We are looking for:
*A candidate with UK Secondary classroom experience
*Can-do attitude and willingness to meet and exceed department goals
*Post-Secondary Degree in English literature, media studies, communications or equivalent specialism
*A candidate who is familiar with up to date safeguarding policies and procedures
*Someone within daily commuting distance from Catford
*A candidate with a DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to participate in a DBS check

The Role:
*Work alongside the classroom teacher to support and augment learning, using your passion for English literature to make material engaging.
*Understand and support students with SEN needs.
*Support in small intervention groups and in 1-to-1 sessions as needed.
*Support SENCO and English department in assessment and planning as needed.
*Facilitating interventions
