Are you an organised and diligent Data / Exams Officer, with experience of running secondary school systems effectively?

This Alternative Provision rated 'Good' in the Blackburn area are looking for an experienced Data, Examinations and Performance Analyst with excellent knowledge of analyse school information and present into custom-formatted data reports /secondary data/ exams and the SIMS system, to join their dedicated team in September 2021, with the potential of going permanent.

You will work closely with the Deputy Head teacher to coordinate and maintain the school's data and assessment systems. You will be responsible for the management of pupil data and analysis of a range of data across the school, and able to produce reports effectively for departments and senior managers. This will include managing assessment data and maintaining assessment manager, producing the school census, as well as annual reports and being responsible for the data security for the school.

For the role you will be required to and MUST have:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience in evaluating system performance and outcomes
• general administration of awarding body examinations and assessments
• Experience of working in a school environment.
• Extensive working knowledge of SIMS and Excel
• Experience of data security and protection procedures
• The ability to work on your own and as part of a bigger team.
• Lead and manage the whole school process for all external and internal examinations.
• Confident in producing accurate and timely data reports.
• Have a confidence, knowledge and understanding of using SIMS.
• Be highly organised and professional.
• Experienced in timetable including the management and utilisation of the timetable software.

This position is full time 32.5 hours per week, 40 weeks per year per week hours will be Monday - Friday 32.5 hours per week, 40 weeks per year.

The school is easily accessible via public transport with a bus stop 5 minuet and via car with close motorway and a large free carpark.
