We are seeking to appoint an experienced, dedicated & enthusiastic early years' practitioner to take to a Nursery Key Worker role in a Primary School in Bristol. You will be working as part of the Foundation Phase team providing care and learning support 3 - 5 year olds. The role is a full-time, permanent position and the school are looking to appoint someone in preparation for September 2019.

The role is in a happy, exciting and busy community school catering of over 300 children from the ages 2 to 11. You will be a joining a committed and friendly team who are making a positive contribution to the lives of their pupils.

As a Senior Early Years Practitioner you will:
Provide childcare for Nursery and Reception children; employ a good knowledge and understanding of the Early Years' Framework and be passionate and about providing exciting learning opportunities through planned playful experiences; be responsible for planning and supporting learning sessions, implementing agreed behaviour strategies and completing ongoing observations and assessments, including recording evidence in the Learning Diaries.

The right person will;

-Be an Early Years specialist with recent experience of working with children aged 0-5 years and a level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare and education (or equivalent)
-Have experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
-Be someone who can work both independently and as part of a close knit team of Nursery nurses and assistants

This exciting role will involve working as part of a close team. You will have a close relationship with the parents and be part of a wider community where every individual is valued.
