Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Reception Teaching Assistant to work in their team. The role is due to commence in ASAP and continue until July 2019. The successful candidate must be available to work five days per week, working 8:30-4:00pm. Your daily rate of pay will be £80.00 per day.

The Headteacher is looking for a Reception TA with the following attributes:
*Previous experience supporting pupils in Early Years/ Key Stage One

*A Teaching Assistant who has a genuine passion for supporting pupils

*A Teaching Assistant who is looking to commit to a role until July 2019


This role will require you to support Reception pupils and assist the class teacher deliver the UK curriculum. The Headteacher is looking for a candidate who has experience delivering phonics sessions and booster sessions for reading and writing. You will be a creative practitioner who can make all lessons and activities fun and academically stimulating. You will be required to assistant the class teacher with observations and learning journeys. Excellent knowledge of the UK Curriculum is required for this role to ensure you have the knowledge and skills to support the pupils effectively and assist with raising attainment. In addition to academic progress, you will also be required to support the emotional and social development of pupils through learning.


The school is very easily accessible via the Northern Line. Parking is available for staff who wish to drive.

The position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas police Clearances and professional reference checks.
