Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a two-form entry Primary School in Castleton, Rochdale to start ASAP until the end of the academic year. This is a full-time role with a salary of £60 per day.

*Hold a Level 3 Qualification
*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK

About the school

We are recruiting for an EYFS Teaching Assistant on behalf of a primary school in Castleton. This is a church school in a multi-faith context. The schools vision is to create "A caring, Christian community with a love of learning where children achieve their potential, are confident in themselves and their abilities and are set on a positive path for life"

The headteacher provides strong, clear leadership. She has high ambitions for the school and equally high expectations of all staff. Teamwork is strong across the school and everybody works together, is involved and accountable. Behaviour in the school is good, and students are respectful of each other and of the adults in the school.

The school is based in Castleton, Rochdale and is accessible via car or bus.

About the role

This OFSTED 'Good' primary school is looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to work within their Reception class. The successful candidate must have excellent behaviour management, a good knowledge of the National Curriculum and have prior experience of supporting children within an EYFS environment.

The role itself will involve working within one of the schools Reception classes, supporting the class with all their learning and development needs including phonics, reading, maths and fine motor skills. The school are looking for somebody who has the ability to be innovative and engaging, ensuring that the children have fun whilst making progress.
