Tradewind are recruiting! Are you looking for you next role teaching Food and Textiles teacher in Waltham Forest, East London?
Our client is a highly ambitious school in the heart of East London. Waltham Forest for pupils aged 11 to 17. All aspects of the school including 'pupil achievement', 'behaviour' and 'quality of teaching' were deemed to be very good at their last Ofsted inspection.

Our client is looking for a Food and Textiles teacher for 0.8 role starting on the 1st March. This will be 4 days a week with Wednesday being the day off. Teaching at KS3 and 4. The ideal teacher would be able to teach bot subjects up to GCSE but one or the other will be considered. Students are taught following the National Curriculum for England taught in all secondary maintained schools. Food Courses available to students at KS4 include GCSE Food and Nutrition using Exam board: WJEC. There are a number of fantastic galleries and exhibitions on in London which you can visit to help you better understand the concepts and ideas behind different Textiles and Fashion designer's work.

Local shops, fast food joints, and a few hip cafes line busy streets, while the High Street hosts a popular outdoor market. Nearby Walthamstow Wetlands is a nature reserve with 10 reservoirs, home to birds like kingfishers and herons.
