Modern Foreign Languages Teacher; January 2019; Bexley School.

We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and talented French Teacher to join the MFL department. This is an exciting role in an exceptional school working alongside an inspirational team. We have had a small, but dedicated A-level French cohort. We believe that our languages teaching is cutting-edge. We welcome the arrival of a teacher who can learn from and build on what has already been achieved. The ability to teach Spanish in addition would be preferable, but expert French teaching is a necessity.

Responsibilities for this Key Stage 3 /4 and A-level Modern Foreign Languages Teacher Role include:
As a French Teacher, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective teaching and learning of pupils and be confident in your abilities to teach Languages to Key Stage 3, 4 and A-Level. The school is looking for an exceptional French teacher who can create a supportive, encouraging and safe learning environment for pupils of all diverse backgrounds. In addition to working well with students, you will also be able to demonstrate a flexible and adaptable approach to working within a school environment and with other members of staff.
To be considered you must have QTS or be a Newly Qualified Teacher.
The ideal candidate for this Key Stage 3 / 4 and A-Level French Teacher role will:
*be experienced and/or qualified to teach the subject successfully at Key Stage 3. 4 and 5
*be empathetic to the students and contribute to the school's friendly, enthusiastic atmosphere.
*be familiar with the national curriculum and assessment methodology
*A sense of warmth and having a caring outlook.
*Any other skills or subject expertise may be helpful.
