About the School - Geography Lead Teacher - Camden, North London
*This is a high performing Church of England Secondary School located in the vibrant inner London borough of Camden. The school has 1500 pupils on role and this year celebrated 50 successful years since opening.
*The school has a strong reputation for helping to create well-rounded pupils who are suitably equipped for further study or to enter work. The school has a high intake of pupils that have EAL, but through excellent teaching and support, most students go on to make above national average progress.
*From September (or potentially sooner) the school is looking to appoint an experienced Geography Teacher who would be keen to lead the subject. Geography at the school is popular through to key stage 5 and produces excellent results at both GCSE and A-Level.
About the Role - Geography Lead Teacher - Camden, North London
*This important subject leader role requires the successful candidate to be an exceptional teacher in the first instance, who is willing to share their experience with colleagues.
*Confident to teach outstanding lessons on a regular basis, the school is looking to appoint someone who can inspire its students each lesson to make sustained progress.
*Supporting the development of teachers and being directly responsible for the training of student teachers and NQT's will form a large part of this post.
*The school offers Geography through to A-Level and the opportunity to take on plenty of KS5 teaching is on offer for the right candidate. The school offers ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities. This post comes with a TLR.
