About the School - Geography Teacher - Greenwich, South East London

This creative and welcoming mixed comprehensive secondary school, based in Greenwich, are now seeking a permanent Geography teacher to join their school for January 2020 and make a large impact! The school is situated in a prime location with onsite parking and transport links across East and Central London. The school is an "Ofsted" Good accredited setting which has been praised for the excellent behaviour of students, the good progress made and the high expectations of leadership within the school. The Geography department is passionate about providing students with opportunities to develop their critical thinking skills and become active global citizens. Therefore, there are various opportunities for students to carry out fieldwork and investigate the outdoor environment, which has included trips abroad. About the Role - Geography Teacher - Greenwich, South East London

QTS achieved or expected to be achieved prior to January in Secondary Geography Teaching.
Clear understanding of the principals of effective teaching
Experience of teaching within a UK secondary school
Ability to plan creatively and confidently differentiate with pupils from all backgrounds
Understanding of GCSE and A-Level teaching
Excellent subject knowledge within Geography teaching (any specialism)
Desire to be developed into an "outstanding" Geography teacher
