This "Good" rated High Wycombe school are looking for a Geography teacher to join their staffing team for September 2019.

As a Geography teacher you will be required to teach in an atmosphere that Ofsted has praised for creating "confident, self-motivated and keen to learn" pupils. Humanities, especially Geography, has always been a hugely popular subject within the school across key stages 3 & 4 and Btec. There is also the possibility to teach up to key stage 5 if desired. The school are also open to applications from teachers looking for extra responsibilities including HOL/HOY and Head of Sixth form amongst others.

The school would like to receive applications from

-Teachers with experience of teaching Geography (ideally in the UK, but overseas applicants with an existing UK work visa will be considered)
-Capable and pragmatic teachers able to engage classrooms and deliver lessons confidently and energetically.

The role will utilise a number of resources and links to other departments, you'll be working alongside 5 other teachers and an amazing SLT who have overseen steady improvements and strong staff retention over recent years.

The school is based in High Wycombe and has good links to a number of stations, with free parking for all staff driving to school.

Aside from a number of awards, various pupil-led event days and a very well respected and effective SLT, this role is paid to scale and offers immediate interview slots prior to the resignation deadline.
