About the School - Geography Teacher - Hounslow, West London

This creative and welcoming mixed comprehensive secondary school, based in Hounslow, are now seeking a permanent Geography teacher to join their school for January 2020 and make a large impact! The Geography department, a well-resourced learning base, believes in developing students into analytical and problem solving individuals that have a robust overview of the world and the future. The school therefore offers a range of opportunities for students including fieldwork, Duke of Edinburgh opportunities, school trips and further access to high quality Geography resources out of school. The school is situated in a prime location with onsite parking and transport links directly to London and surrounding areas. About the Role - Geography Teacher - Hounslow, West London

*QTS essential and successful completion of PGCE
*Clear understanding of the principals of effective teaching
*Experience of teaching within a UK secondary school
*Ability to plan creatively and confidently differentiate with pupils from all backgrounds
*Understanding of GCSE and A-Level teaching
*Excellent subject knowledge within Geography teaching (any specialism)
*Desire to be developed into an "outstanding" Geography teacher
