A faith school in Longsight, Manchester are recruiting for four graduate Teaching Assistant to support children mainly in Key Stage 2. The school is currently in a transitional stage with a new Headteacher being appointed in September. The Headteacher is keen to ensure staffing numbers are increased to assist and aid learning in all year groups and is starting by introducing graduate Teaching Assistants.

The ideal candidate for this position will have recently gained a degree, ideally in a core subject (maths, English, science), psychology, sport science, history, music or geography. (Please feel free to get in touch if your degree is in another subject); and have the desire to go onto complete a teacher training programme with in the next few years.

The position will consist of supporting classes on a whole, leading small group interventions and possibly some one to one support. You must be engaging, encouraging and know how to inspire learning for children.
