Aspiring Primary Teacher required for KS1 Teaching Assistant role in Lambeth!

About the role:

* Taking on some of the responsibilities of a KS1 Primary Teacher

* Working closely with an experienced KS1 Teacher who is on hand to support you throughout your role

* Opportunities to commence school direct next year September 2020!

* £75-£85 per day dependent on specific responsibilities



Requirements:



* Strong academics - a 2:1 or First-Class Honours degree and at least a C or above in Maths, English and Science GCSEs

* Confident and enthusiastic personality - the ability to fully engage students, helping them to understand the concepts being asked of them

* Adaptable and able to use initiative - the ability to make decisive decisions and to stay calm even in challenging situations

* A good sense of humour! - someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously and can laugh even in the face of adversity!

* Ambition and motivation - the desire to work hard and develop effective strategies for teaching and learning.

* Future Primary Teachers - this role has a strong possibility of leading on to teacher training from September 2020!

* Patient, positive outlook - student progress might take longer than expected so a consistent and dedicated approach is needed
