Are you a graduate looking to gain first hand teaching experience as a Primary Teaching Assistant before progressing into a teacher training programme?

Would you like the opportunity to develop and enhance your primary teaching ability alongside an experienced and supportive primary staff team?

You could earn up to £70 per day as a Primary Teaching Assistant inside of this warm and welcoming primary school, whilst gaining vital teaching experience supporting the development of primary school pupils.

Tradewind Manchester is currently looking for an energetic and motivated Teaching Assistant, to join a popular and inclusive Primary in Trafford, to start in September 2019. This is a full time, long term role (full academic year), with the potential of a permanent contract.

To join us and be successful in this Graduate Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:
*Hold a Degree or relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
*Have experience of working with children or young people
*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
*Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK

About the school

We are recruiting for a Graduate Teaching Assistant on behalf of popular, friendly and inclusive Primary school where pupils are at the centre of all they plan and do. The school has high expectations for all pupils, with a successful focus on helping pupils to develop into being good citizens on all levels. The recent 'Good' Ofsted inspection remarked on the strength and effectiveness of the teamwork between staff, pupils and parents.

The school is based in Trafford, with convenient public transport links and parking available outside.

Parents remarked on the difference they noticed in their children after they started at this school, most notably that they have seen an increase in their confidence and improvements in behaviour.

About the role

This OFSTED 'Good' Primary School is looking for a Graduate Teaching Assistant who has worked with children or young people,to support the classroom teacher with a wide range of day to day duties and providing effective group and 1:1 support.

Responsibilities will include helping the class teacher plan lessons and prepare the classroom accordingly; leading small booster sessions for low ability or gifted and talented pupils.

The role will require working as part of a team and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
