About the Role - Head of English - Croydon, South East London

Previous leadership experience for this position - either Head of English or second in charge experience.
QTS achieved in Secondary English Teaching.
Understanding of GCSE and A-Level teaching.
Through a strong understanding of assessment, you will be passionate about ensuring every student has an opportunity to succeed and maintaining the high expectations throughout this well-resourced department.
As Head of English at this school, you will be responsible for working alongside SLT on curriculum development and implementing this throughout the faculty.
Excellent subject knowledge within English teaching.
The school is seeking a professional Head of English with "outstanding" behaviour management expectations and a hardworking ethos.
