About the School - Head of MFL - Waltham Forest, East London
Starting in January or the earliest opportunity, this large and successful Academy School located in the Outer London Borough of Enfield is looking to appoint a highly experienced middle leader to head its MFL department. The current HOD leaves the school after three years for promotion. This school has a highly varied intake of pupils mainly from low socioeconomic backgrounds. The school works hard to ensure these pupils achieve and last years GCSE results were 52% A*- C including Maths and English. The MFL department surpasses the average achieved grading at both GCSE and A-Level. Offering both French and Spanish through to KS5 Currently the school has 6 full time teachers and 1-part time with a mixture of experienced and newly qualified staff.

*Experienced languages teacher with the ability to teach French or Spanish through to A-Level and the second language to at least KS3.
