This is a modern school with a holistic approach to education that values the full development of its students, rather than just academic outcomes. The school is located on the outer London borough of Enfield which has great links to central London and means the school has acres of space in which to teach its pupils. A mixed intake of pupils from a diverse range of social and cultural backgrounds ensures this school feels like a fast-paced city school. Attainment at all key stages has been increasing yearly and behaviour is generally good. For September the school is looking to appoint a committed Head of Music to lead its well-resourced department which includes large modern classrooms, a state of the art performing/recording studio and brand new musical instruments. The school has a strong performing arts background and regularly puts on performances for parents and the local community. Music is offered through to Key Stage 5.

*The school is looking for an excellent teacher with a highly musical background. The school is expecting the incoming teacher to be capable of playing a number of instruments and have the ability to inspire all.
*This role comes with the requirement to be involved with some after school clubs and musical performances.
