*This is a modern faith school for children between the ages of 4 and 11. Located in Haringey, North London it is a diverse school with over 25 languages other than English spoken. Although a C of E faith school, children from all religious backgrounds and none are enrolled which can also be said for the teaching staff.
*Behaviour at the school is excellent, parents are supportive, and attainment is on the up. This has helped to create an atmosphere of success and confidence among staff and students. Staff turnover is lower than average which has meant there is a consistency to the teaching within the school.
*There is a clear understanding of what the school needs to do to improve to an outstanding status. The joining Head of School will have major input and responsibility for helping the school realise its ambitions.

About the Person - Head of School - Haringey, North London

*This is an extremely important role to the school and as such will only be suitable for teachers who have strong senior leadership basis in a Deputy or Assistant Head capacity. The successful candidate will be required to show how they have had an impact on whole school projects with successful outcomes.
*Holders of the NPQSL or NPQH would be at an advantage, although candidates who are willing to take on one of the qualifications (at the school's expense) will also be considered.
*The School is ambitious and looking to develop into an outstanding Ofsted provider of education. To this wen d the incoming Head of School should have plenty of ideas of how to improve a school, how to sell their vision to a range of staff members and how to implement this change.
*This role includes the full support and development provided from a leading Executive Head Teacher who is responsible for 4 schools in the borough.
