Tradewind are working with a large trust of schools who require a Head Teacher for one of their large primary academies in Sheffield.
The trust has a strong ethos of tackling educational disadvantage in the communities it serves.
This school has a rate of academic progress above the national average and strong expectations from pupils in terms of behaviour and attainment. The school prides itself on effectively removing barriers to learning for those pupils who are from the most disadvantaged backgrounds.
The appointed person should have experience within a Senior Leader role and have a proven record of driving attainment across schools. You will be responsible for driving the ethos and culture of excellence within the school and will be leading an established and secure group of educational professionals. You will be responsible for recruiting, training and mentoring all staff within the school and maintaining strong working relationships with outside agencies and stakeholders.
An NPQH Head Teacher qualification is not a necessity at this time and the successful applicant can be supported through this process by the trust once appointed.
What is crucial to this role is a proven record of within a senior leadership role of driving attainment and excellence.
