Experienced or aspiring HLTA needed for primary school in Seven Sisters, Haringey. September 2020 start!

This is an exciting opportunity to join a brilliant team in a forward thinking, dynamic primary school! We are looking for skilled, experienced HLTA's for this role or you may be looking to pursue a teaching career. We are looking for candidates who have recent knowledge of the primary curriculum and will be confident and capable managing a classroom.

This HLTA role is full time, five days per week and is due to start in September 2020 for the full academic year 2020/2021. The hours are 8.30am-4pm. £90-£110


The school:

The school is a wonderful two form entry school rated good in their most recent Ofsted. The school has a supportive pastoral care system and staff are given excellent support and CPD.

The role:

You will be supporting classrooms across KS1 and KS2 and will work with teachers and SLT to provide excellent quality teaching and attention to each pupil you work with. Your role will consist of classroom cover, delivering planned lessons as well as some small group intervention teaching.

Essential requirement:

You will have recent experience working in a primary school environment
Ideally you will have experience working as a HLTA
Either hold a HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) or another relevant teaching qualification
Have knowledge and experience delivering the national curriculum to pupils at primary age.
Demonstrate commitment, good work ethic, adaptable, flexible approach
Demonstrate an engaging approach and excellent behaviour management skills
Passionate about education
