The ideal candidate for this role must be forward thinking, enthusiastic, resilient, organised, and determined. If these are traits you possess as well as a love for education, this Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) role is the perfect role for you! The role is to begin in March 2021 and will last the full academic year with a view to extension.

As an HLTA, you will prepare and deliver learning activities with individual pupils, groups and whole classes. You will be assessing records and reporting on pupils' progress facilitating, demonstrating and then allowing students to work independently to challenge their own abilities.

Your working hours 8.25am - 4.00pm

Daily pay rate £100.00 - 120.00

• BA Honours Degree and proven experience as a HLTA OR holds the HLTA qualification with a proven track record of planning and delivering lessons.
• Have a minimum of a C and above in English, Science and Maths GCSE
• Strong behaviour management experience
• A firm but fair attitude and a great sense of humour
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK

The school is based near to Gospel Oak and Belsize Park stations, and is very accessible via national Northern line and Overground services, and is also short journey from Kentish Town and Hampstead Heath.
