Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a two-form entry Primary School in Heywood, Rochdale to start in January until the end of the academic year. This is a full-time role with a salary of £75 per day.

To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

*Hold a Level 4 or Higher Level Teaching Assistant Qualification
*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK

We are recruiting for a HLTA on behalf of a primary school in Heywood. About the role

This OFSTED 'Good' primary school is looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work within KS1 and KS2. The successful candidate must have excellent behaviour management, a good knowledge of the National Curriculum and have prior experience of delivering classes.

The role itself will involve working across KS1 and KS2, providing PPA Cover. As a HLTA, you will be required to deliver lessons set by the teacher, as well as run your own intervention and booster sessions when required. Previous experience of delivering programmes such as Top by Toe, Rapid Reading and Direct Phonics is preferable. The school are looking for somebody who has the ability to be innovative and engaging, ensuring that the children have fun whilst making progress.
