Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a hardworking person with high expectation of themselves and others to join a fantastic supportive and friendly team as an experienced Teaching Assistant or HLTA.

This school is relatively new having opened in 2015 and provides spacious and bright classroom for the children to learn over 3 levels in a grade 2 listed building. The school is excellently resourced with interactive whiteboards, 2 sports/leisure halls and outdoor play areas. The school promotes a positive learning and inspirational environment, making it an exciting place to work and study in.

We are looking for:
-HLTAs who have some whole class cover experience
-good numeracy and literacy skills (GCSE grade C or equivalent in English and Maths is desirable)
- enthusiastic and dynamic attitude
- a willingness to work as part of a team of teaching assistants
- high expectations of achievement and behaviour
- an ability to communicate with parents, carers and class teachers.

The role: You will be required to support the teacher mainly acorss KS2 but possibly in other classes too. This may include supporting small group to raise attainment or working to manage behaviour. You may also be required to take full responsibility for covering classes whilst the teacher steps out. This is a full time role to start asap with the view to go permanent for the right candidate. School hours are 8.30am to 3.30pm. Salary expectation approx. £17, 625 - £22,000pa.

The school is really accessible with a bus stop very local and regular buses, Watford Junction train station only 5 min walk away and a large carpark opposite.

The essentials:
*HLTA qualification or
*Cache level 3 with min of 2 years experience
*Ability to cover classes independently
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
You must have the legal right to work in the UK
