*Within History, the school has seen more candidates choose to study History in GCSE and A - Level than ever before.
*The school currently has 5 teachers teaching History, including the Deputy Head Teacher.

About the Role - History Teacher and subject leader - Westminster, Central London

*You will be a well-qualified, highly motivated History teacher who is an excellent classroom teacher with a record of effective teaching or teaching practice.
*The joining teacher will be an experienced History teacher seeking either their first opportunity for additional responsibility or another opportunity for a TLR.
*The school is a teaching school, therefore the school has the capacity to support teachers with a tailored mentoring and support.
*As a teacher in this role, you will also lead the subject and have responsibility for training other staff and mentoring and developing staff. In addition, the History teacher will be responsible for working on the schemes of work.
*The History teacher must have recent experience teaching History in the UK and hold QTS.
