The school are looking to appoint a committed, passionate, and hard-working History Teacher. The position is due to commence in March 2019 and is a full-time role. As a Teacher of History you would be expected to take on the full role of a classroom teacher including; planning, preparing and delivering lessons, marking work, attending staff meetings and parents' evenings.

This is a medium sized 11 to 16 secondary academy in Southend which is committed to the success of every student. The school believes in traditional values of respect, good behaviour and discipline in order to ensure students are able to thrive and achieve their best. The school also has a very strong pastoral care and curriculum which caters for all students, across the age and ability range. The school believe in the importance of being inclusive and creating a strong community within the school in which students feel happy, safe and secure. In order to be considered for this fantastic opportunity Tradewind requires the following:
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
*You must hold QTS or a UK recognised equivalent teaching qualification.
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.

The school is based in Southend and is accessible by public transport or car, with on-site parking for staff.
