*Small class sizes of 5 pupils and 3 support staff

The provision is for pupils with social and emotional difficulties, initially with 12 pupils, but growing to a maximum of 16 pupils aged 5-11. The school are now looking for a HLTA (higher level teaching assistant) to join them. The school are willing to provide training to staff before handing them a classroom of their own. This is an exciting opportunity for a SEN Mentor or SEN TA to join an outstanding and a leader provision of special education.

Lead P.E (physical education) and Music lessons
The school are looking for a HLTA who can particularly lead in Sports and have the attributes to lead in music and art lessons too. The staff at the school are very welcoming and there are 3 members of the support team in every class.

The school is equipped with a large outdoor space for the children. It is key for this role that you are positive and enjoy having a laugh. The pupils you will be supporting are an active bunch and enjoy various leisure and activities in the community - including swimming, for example. Please ensure you can commit to this role, as reliability for the students you will be supporting is a key factor. They require stability and need support in accessing activities to allow them to achieve their full potential.
Essential requirements:

*Strong HLTA/Mentor experience
*Knowledge of leading P.E sessions as well as music and art
*Legal right to work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced DBS check
