About the School - Humanities NQT - Potters Bar, Hertfordshire
This excellent, established Academy chain is looking to take teaching in Hertfordshire to new heights and is looking to appoint two NQT's for their Humanities department NQT as an additional member of staff for September. The school has a 'Good' Ofsted rating and most recently has received it's best results at GCSE. Ofsted noted the support and diverse teaching offered to key stage 3 pupils as a key feature in the schools results. The school is aiming to continue this focus further and has a strong plan in place to do this starting with the addition of two NQT's across the department who they can train and develop into the perfect teachers for the school.
This school offers a consortium for it's sixth form pupils with other local schools and will be looking for NQT's to progress onto KS5 classes when ready and assist with intervention and booster classes throughout the year groups.
Role requirements - Humanities NQT - Potters Bar, Hertfordshire
*Trainee Geography, History or RE Teachers who expects to achieve QTS prior to the new academic year starting.
*The ability to teach any Humanities across Key Stages 3 and 4, the flexibility to offer another Humanities subject to KS3 is also an advantage.
*Strong subject knowledge, good behaviour management and the ability to inspire bright pupils will be expected.
