Tradewind Recruitment have been asked by a welcoming secondary school in West Essex to assist them with the appointment of a Humanities Teacher to join their team from September. This is a full-time post, teaching students up to KS4, with the possibility of taking on additional subject leading responsibilities which will be rewarded with a TLR. They can consider most disciplines, however, sound knowledge of History and/or Religious Studies would be advantageous. If you can deliver some Sociology this would be desirable but not essential. NQT's are also welcome to apply.

The school is currently graded as 'Good' with 'Outstanding' in pupil behaviour. The successful applicant will have the pleasure of working in a school which is well equipped with modern facilities and are proud of the fantastic CPD they offer staff. This is a welcoming secondary school is based on the Essex, London and Hertfordshire border and is easily commutable from surrounding areas. The school is accessible by car and public transport with parking available.

To be successful in this Humanities Teaching position you will be:
A qualified teacher who has a genuine passion for their subject and can inspire their pupils, ideally with sound knowledge of History and/or Religious Studies.
A creative teacher, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role.
A reliable and collaborative professional with experience teaching in secondary schools or FE.
