Tradewind are recruiting! Are you an exceptional Humanities Teacher in the North East Lincolnshire area? Do you have a breadth of knowledge to deliver exciting lessons across RE, History and Geography?

Tradewind are currently recruiting for an excellent Humanities teacher for a large secondary school in Grimsby. The role is due to start once the schools fully reopen in the new Academic year. The role is likely to last initially for 1 term, however, there is a high possibility it will become a permanent post and the successful recruit is most welcome to apply should that be the case.
Due to the requirement to provide a full teaching role including planning and marking, the post holder can expect to be paid on the main pay scale, which equates to a maximum of £184 per day.

This large secondary academy was recently awarded a "good" from Ofsted following its continued success in delivering results and demonstrating high expectations through all its endeavours.
It is part of a large academy trust and has strong links with the local primary schools.
Its central location lends itself well to public transport links and if you drive, there is ample onsite parking available.

The school supports Key Stages 3 & 4 but as the aspiration of Key Stage 4 is so high, being able to stretch students further with Key Stage 5 experience is very desirable.
Due to the cohesive approach from the school, team work is paramount and as such, involvement in extracurricular roles and pastoral support is very important. With this in mind, the successful applicant should be fully committed to supporting this key areas.

Having worked with the school for many years, we know that the support available for their temporary workforce is no different to that of their permanent team. They invest heavily in CPD which is available to all and they will provide staff with full access to the IT systems to ensure you are able to work no differently to permanent counterparts.
SLT are highly visible throughout the academy and make themselves available always.
