As a Humanities teacher you'll will be given the opportunity to work alongside a team of experienced professionals focussed on high expectations, good teaching and ambition for every pupil. This is a large, award winning, National Teaching School based on the outskirts of St Albans in beautiful surroundings.

The role will consist of teaching your chosen subject to Key stages 3 and 4 to pupils in both mixed ability and streamed classes. You may also be required to support other Humanities subjects at KS3 within this tight knit and collaborative department. The school is very well equipped and the SLT are looking for an enthusiastic and professional teacher focussed on implementing engaging lessons to inspire pupils many of which progress to Oxbridge and other higher level universities. You must be willing to plan and mark lessons and understand the importance of raising attainment. Leadership in the school work collaboratively and will a clear vision for all pupils and staff alike.


Located on the outskirts of St Albans the school offers parking and a 5-minute walk from well supplied, local bus stops.

The Role:
*Delivering Geography or History across Key stage 3 & 4.
*Planning, marking and assessment.
*Attending Parents Evenings as required.
*Running clubs after school as required.
