Tradewind Hertfordshire are looking for 3 intervention Teacher's to start in September and work closely with a large School Trust across 3 schools in Hemel Hempstead and St Albans. Are you an experienced teacher or Cover Supervisor with a numeracy or literacy specialism? A recent graduate looking for a route into teaching or education experience? This is a varied role that will allow you to get involved with extracurricular clubs, lessons and lead groups and small classes.

***Long term, Full and part time roles to suit starting September and ending July
***Part Time options with an opportunity to become full time
***£70 to £80 per day based on experience


This role is based with an exceptional Trust of 3 secondary schools based in Hemel Hempstead and on the outskirts of St Albans. Working with pupils aged 11-16 your focus will be to lead 1-2-1 sessions and small groups of mixed and lower ability groups and support pupils as they return to school or start their secondary education. The trust provides modern and supportive learning environments with full resources to engage and develop their ambitious pupils. This post will come with ample training and professional development opportunities.


The key requirements for this role are:
*Classroom or youth work experience with a passion for teaching
*Degree educated, preferably in Psychology, Education or Sciences
*Level 3 qualified an advantage but not essential
You will also need to provide
-A current DBS check - we can provide one for you and even repay you for the expense (t&c's apply)
-A complete work history spanning 10 years where applicable
-Current teaching references or references from other child related roles
