Tradewind are currently recruiting for an excellent IT professional, to work in a local Hull college on a temporary to permanent basis.

Tradewind are working with a college in the Hull/East Riding area, who are looking to recruit an IT Systems manager on a temporary-permanent basis, starting from September 2020 (possibly sooner). You will work on a temporary basis for a short time, before beginning your permanent employment with the College. This is a full time vacancy, and you will be contracted for 37 hours per week. Salary for this position is scaled between £26,600 and £28,500 per year. You will be eligible for 24 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), which will rise to 29 days after 5 years of service.

This is the perfect opportunity for established IT professionals to take the step up, and manage a small team. Or for existing managers to work in a truly wonderful educational environment. The college in question is an extremely successful A level provider, that enjoys a truly excellent reputation in the local area.

The role:

Leading a small team of IT and Network technicians
*Managing an IT infrastructure including: MS Windows, CISCO and VMWARE Technologies
*Using SLQ based technologies
*Solving a range of IT based problems across the site

The perfect candidate:
*Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication skills
*Experience leading a small team
*Experience running Microsoft Windows Server Networks
*Experience managing an IT infrastructure
*Level 3 or Degree IT qualification
*5 years experience in an IT support role
*Innovative and solution focused
