The role starts in January 2021 and will continue for the duration of the academic year until July 2021 at least. This is a long-term role with a potential permanent opportunity at the end of the long-term placement. Salary will be in line with MPS, £29915-£41136 per annum, outer London, depending on experience.

KS1 Primary teacher, Barnet

This two-form entry school has always had a good reputation locally and despite a drop in results over the last few years, a new Headteacher in now in role and is determined to make the school the best in the area. This will be a very exciting time to be at the school during this transformation period!

The Headteacher is seeking a key stage 1 teacher to join the team in January, and they have the capacity to take on a newly qualified teacher and to sytart with that all-importamt induction year! The actual year group is to be decided and there is some flexibility available and you will be working closely with the parallel year group teacher, planning together each week, to share ideas and resources. You will have a teaching assistant working with you to help with general classroom duties.


The Headteacher is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and engaging teacher who is a great communicator. You be adaptable, flexible and open to new ideas but also willing to offer suggestions of good practice. Are YOU the teacher this school needs??


Essential requirements to be considered for this role:

*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
*Have experience teaching in a primary classroom in a mainstream setting and have a good knowledge of the primary curriculum
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
