Key Stage 1 primary school teacher needed for Year 1 class in Lymm WA13
*Full time fixed term contract
*April start date until end of academic year
*Small Trafford (WA13) primary school
Tradewind are working a long side a small Trafford primary school looking for a Year 1 teacher for the rest of the academic year. The current teacher will be taking on a new job role within the school, so the Head Teacher wants an experienced Key Stage 1 teacher who can come in and hit the ground running.
*Salary (£22,467 - £38,250)
*NQTs and FQTs encouraged to apply
*Possibility for permanent appointment for suitable candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience teaching in a Key Stage 1 setting and ideally has good Knowledge of the Read Write Inc Phonics scheme. The school community is made up of children who are mostly white British and the number of pupil's with Special Educational Needs is above the national average.
This small Trafford primary school has a strong leadership team to support its staff and was previously graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted. The school strives to push each child individually to become lifelong learners and begin their learning journey to achieve their full potential.
Ideally the Primary teacher will have experience of;
*Teaching a Year 1 class
*Teaching all core and foundation primary subjects.
*Creatively linking subjects together to plan thematically
*Planning for, directing and working with a teaching assistant

To be considered for this role we require you meet the following criteria;
*Hold a relevant teaching qualification with QTS, such as a PGCE, B.Ed or a BA Hons.
*Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
*Have at least 4 months school-based experience of working in a UK primary school setting.
*Two suitable references covering the last 2 years.
*Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
