About the Role - Key Stage 2 Teacher and English Lead - Lewisham, Central London

This Key Stage 2 Teacher and English Lead post who suit an experienced teacher who has experience in Year 5 and Year 6. It is not essential to have previous experience as an English Lead, but it is important that the post holder has a passion for English and has a strong set of SATs results through their teaching career.
Through this role, you will have the opportunity to make your mark through reviewing and formulating English policies and using school data to maximise progress in all children.
As English subject lead at this school, you will be responsible for observing teachers, liaising regularly with SLT and English curriculum development.
This Key Stage 2 Teacher and English Lead post needs someone who is committed to the progression of their career and who can bring their previous KS2 experience to the school with fresh ideas on the curriculum.
NQTs are not suitable for this post and only experienced teachers will be appointed.
It is essential that the post holder has QTS and a strong and relevant degree from a good university.
