Tradewind Manchester is currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Year 3 Teaching Assistant, to join an outstanding and highly regarded Primary School in Salford, to start ASAP. This is a full time, long term role, with the potential of a permanent contract, paying up to £65 per day.

To join us and be successful in this Year 3 Teaching Assistant role, you will need to...

* Hold a relevant Childcare qualification or equivalent
* Have experience of working with young children with a wide range of SEN
* Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
* Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
* Have the legal right to work in the UK

We are recruiting for a Year 3 Teaching Assistant on behalf of a small primary school situated in Worsley (M28). The school is an outstanding KS2 team and is highly regarded within the local community. The school has a strong family atmosphere and parents are very proud of the exceptional progress which their children make. Children with Special Needs receive excellent support and make fantastic progress.
The school is based in Salford, with convenient public transport links and parking available outside.

About the role...

This OFSTED 'Outstanding' Primary School is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant who can support children within small groups as well as on an individual basis. Interventions support experience is highly desirable as this role requires supporting children with a range of SEN.
The role involves organising and supervising appropriate KS2 activities. The ability to work as part of a team and provide support to the Teaching staff is a daily requirement, as is building effective relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
