Tradewind are working with a Salford Primary School that are looking for a hard-working KS2 Teaching Assistant until the end of the academic year.

The large two and a half form entry Community School in Worsley want a positive role model who can work 1:1 with a pupil in Year 5. This is a full time, long-term role with a salary of £70 per day.

To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

* Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
* Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
* Have the legal right to work in the UK

About the role

The school are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to work within their Year 5 class. The school are looking for somebody with a strong behaviour management skills and key knowledge and understanding of the KS2 National Curriculum.

The role itself will involve supporting a pupil in Year 5, supporting them in lessons and with classroom activities. Under the direction of the class teacher, you will be required to help the pupil make progress within phonics, numeracy, reading and writing. The pupil has emotional, behavioural difficulties, the ideal candidate will be calm and collective and able to deescalate any situations that may arise.
