Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Special Needs Teacher, to join a successful SEN school in Bristol, to start as soon as possible. This is a full time, long term role, paying up to £130 a day.

We are recruiting on behalf of a SEND, which caters for students from 11 -16 years old. The school is an 'Good' educational provider and is delivering promising outcomes for students in the local area. The leadership team continuously maintains the good quality of education in the school.

This OFSTED 'Good' school is looking for a Special Educational Needs Teacher who can deliver lessons at KS3 classes and has a working knowledge of teaching students with BESD. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to teach at Secondary level and also manage behaviour effectively. You must be a committed practitioner, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role. You will need to be a collaborative and driven individual who will support and lead on the delivery of various subjects through inventive approaches including curriculum design and the use of ICT.

The role itself will involve the delivery of lessons to students diagnosed with ASC, ADHD, Asperger's and BESD. Ideal candidates will have strong behaviour management and will ensure that the lessons they deliver are of excellent quality using innovative and engaging approaches, ensuring that the students are having fun whilst making progress!

The school is based in Bristol, with excellent public transport links and ample parking available.

*Hold QTS Status or QTLS
