Tradewind Manchester are currently recruiting on behalf of a two-form entry Primary School in Stockport to start in February 2020. This is a full-time, long-term role with a salary from £65 per day. The school are looking to recruit a Learning Mentor - the role requires a mentor to work with a cohort of students, who are struggling to access the curriculum in a traditional classroom setting.

To join us and be successful in this role, you will need to:

* Hold a degree or a Teaching Assistant Qualification.
* Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
* Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained.
* Have the legal right to work in the UK.

About the role:

This OFSTED 'Good' primary school is looking for a Learning Mentor to support working a cohort of pupils who are struggling to access the curriculum in a traditional classroom setting. The successful candidate may also be required to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil with behaviour needs, in support of the class teacher. They will be helping the pupil to engage in their learning and stay focused on their work.

Experience working with Special Needs previously or training in Moving and Handling or Team Teach is desirable but not essential.
