A fantastic three from entry primary school in Edmonton, Enfield is looking for a teaching assistant to work in KS2. The role will involve 1-1 support for two pupils in Year 4 who are have special needs.

The headteacher and senco are keen to appoint a teaching assistant who demonstrates patience, commitment and experience supporting children with language and communication difficulties.

In the morning session you will work with a pupil who has English as an additional language. You will provide 1-1 support focussed on literacy and language development. In the afternoon you will support a pupil in year 4 who has autism and needs learning support with literacy. There are no major behavioural needs within this role and both children respond well to structure and a positive, patient approach.

The school, rated good by Ofsted, are well equipped with resources and the school is lead by an outstanding leadership team.

The school is looking for a Learning Support Assistant who:

*Has a good academic background
*Has experience working with
*Has an engaging, confident, animated approach with children
*Commitment to the school and open to development

The person

This role requires someone who is:

*Confident supporting children with language and communication difficulties
*Able to manage small groups
*Degree educated, preferably 2.1 minimum
*Autism experience
