An outstanding school in the borough of Enfield is recruiting for a learning support assistant for the year 3 and 4 class.

The role begins in at the end of Feb/beginning of March 2019 and will continue for the full academic year until July 2019. The role is full time, 5 day per week, term time only.

The primary school is a large, successful primary based in Ponders End. They pride themselves on their professionalism, high expectations and commitment to the local community.

They are keen to appoint a learning support assistant who has good experience supporting children at a primary school level. The role is to support children in lower KS2 who have additional needs and requires someone who demonstrates a calm, firm and nurturing approach.

This role would suit some who has some experience as a learning support assistant and wishes to progress their career.

The roles will involve:

*Work pupils who have special needs and EAL
*1-1 and group intervention support for children
*Phonics teaching
*Full time roles, 5 day per week
*Hours 8.30am - 4pm

This role requires someone with a good academic background and positive communication skills (written and verbal). Aspiring teachers are urged to Apply!

The teaching assistant roles are full time, 5 days week and will be due to start in February /March 2019.

To be considered for the learning support assistant role you must;

*Have at least 6 months teaching assistant experience
*Experience supporting children who have special needs
*Be a team player - this role requires someone who works well with teachers, pupils and parents
*Demonstrate commitment, resilience, success in your previous work experience
*Ideally you will be local to Enfield
